I discovered my passion for yoga after healing from a ski accident (which broke one leg and tore the ACL and meniscus in the other leg) and two back-to-back pregnancies.  I found myself in a body that didn’t look or feel like mine and was desperate to feel better.  At the suggestion of a friend, I took my first hot yoga class and was hooked.  To date, my body has never felt better.

After almost two years of practicing, I left behind a career in special education to embark on a new adventure in teaching yoga.  I now serve as the Director of Training + Quality Control at Namaste Yoga in Kirkwood Missouri, am an Adjunct Professor at Webster University teaching Yoga and Wellness and provide in-patient yoga at St Louis Children’s Hosptial.

I graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Cincinnati in 2006, a Masters degree in Education from Temple University in 2009 and have a 500-RYT yoga certification. I am also certified to teach Yin Yoga, Yoga Sculpt, Spinning and STOTT reformer and mat pilates. I also have my level 1 certification in sonic massage (sound and vibration healing) and will complete my 95 hour children’s yoga training by December of 2024.
